Walnut from Estacada

This walnut tree is of unknown origin. The owner treasured it enough to keep it with her when she changed homesteads and wanted something beautiful to be made with it.  It was collected in Estacada in July of 2025.

As of February 2026, a few small pieces have been made, such as small bowls and Q-tip / toothpick holders. A large bowl or two is currently in progress.
